Anyone who has been through a curriculum adoption knows that this is challenging and complex work! Follow the Year 1 implementation story of AFYA, Baltimore, Inc., a small K-8 charter school network in Maryland, as they partner with a Teacher Leader in Residence for on-going professional learning support. Like any partnership, success relies on these elements: trust and commitment, shared vision and goals, effective communication, and collaborative leadership.
